How To Use The Hypothesis Browser
The Hypothesis Browser is a tool for organizing evidence within a field of study. The Hypothesis Browser is organized into fields of study. Within each Field of study there exists a series of Topics. Each Topic in turn may have a number of Hypotheses. The Hypothesis Browser provides access to this top level through the Directory.
Each Hypothesis in the Browser is reachable from the Directory. A Hypothesis consists of positive and negative supporting Arguments. Each Argument has a body of Evidence backed up by Citations. Additionally, some Arguments maybe linked with a positive or negative form.
The Hypothesis Browser is the most useful after creating an account. Logged in users may add Fields, Topics and Hypotheses. Additionally, the user that creates a Hypothesis is considered the Curator of that Hypothesis and may edit any of the fields making up the Hypothesis. Other users may direct messages to the Curator of a Hypothesis by clicking on their link in the Hypothesis.
